the Peavey 410TVX is by far my favorite cab I've played through. It's ridiculously heavy though... but hey, so is the svt410HLF.

It feels powerful. It's like... if it were a person, it would be beating the crap of you. Make sense? Maybe I can illustrate it. Here's how I felt playing the same head through the 410s I've owned:

    Ampeg SVT-410HE

Ampeg BSE-410HLF :( or maybe :scowl:

    GK 410SBX :)

    Peavey 410TVX :bassist:

OK I'm biased. So I'll just say go with the one that sounds the way you want your self to sound.
It all comes down to which one feels the best to you for what you play.
  6. I have limited experience with the Peavey 410TVX. I played a long set with that setup.

I have no experience with the Ampeg 4x10's, but i do hear them from time to time a different gigs...

    Get the Peavey :bag:

The HLF is gonna get you a TON more low end than the Peavey. I used to use a Peavey 810 TVX, and it had nowhere close to the low end that the SVT does.

just been having a look at the NL-210 2-way cabinet and that has a very close frequency response to the 410he....which has a better response than 410hlf.... just a suggestion why not keep amp and cab branded ie: stick with a all Euphonic Audio amp rig.....I've never had expierence with Euphonic Audio equipment so i cant comment.... Listen what sounds good, whats on paper is not always the sound you looking for.....

I would have voted for the Ampeg. The lows are great, the mids are present (I've found the Peavey to be too scooped from my taste) and the highs are fine...it's a great cabinet.

You should be fine with that cabinet and the iAmp 500...500 watts and the 410HLF ought to loosen some fillings! :D

Have fun and please let us know how you like the combination after you get a chance to use it.
  14. Freq response? Isn't it the other way around??
