Cab Query??

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by refinedbass, Dec 2, 2004.

  1. I was wanting to know which of these 3 cabs would you say would best suit me:

    Ampeg 410HLF
    Eden 410XLT
    SWR Goliath III

I play mainly for my church right now. I'm really into playing jazz, blues, funk, and a little rock(not hardcore). The P&W music is kind of a mix of all those styles. The cab I'm needing has to to be able to cut through a mix well and be pretty versatile. I need to be able to hear myself and have other people hear me without having to take the cab to wig-splitting volumes. The features I like about the Ampeg is it's frequency range, the Eden is an industry standard, and the SWR I don't really know a whole lot about, but I heard it's a great cab also.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ya'll

All of these are good, you just need to try them with your bass and see what sounds right to you. All of them are versitile and will cut through with a band.

Add the Aguilar GS410 to your demo list if you can find one.
