Hey wuts up, i have a question about speaker cabs. Im thinking of getting a SWR goliath III 4x10 and was wondering for slap or other styles, which is the better if any combination other than the 4x10, for example 1x10 and 1x15 combo, etc. thanks:bassist:

IMO, you can't go wrong in fiding a good slap tone with a 4x10 (especially Goliaths.) However, I use two 1x12's and find that the slap tone I get from them is amazing.

10's have an upper midrange bite that gives you the classic slap sound. The Goliath III is a great cabinet for slap and fingerstyle. However, you can get a great slap with 12's. I am using two Bag End 15's(one with a tweeter), and I love the tone I get.

It's in the hands, not the cab.......
