Cab to use with a Hartke 3500 Series head?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by grunlohd, May 13, 2005.

  1. I've been using a Hartke VX Series (can't remember the number, but it's one of the ones with 2 8's, a horn, and a 15). Unfortunately, this cab belongs to a friend of mine, who now needs it back (his band is going out on tour) and so I'm in the market for a cab that will give me a warm, slightly overdriven tone with sustain. I've been thinking an SWR 4x8, since I found one used for $350. That's about the high end of my price range. Any advice on this can be emailed to me at:

My 3500 did a most excellent job powering a 215 cab with Peavey Black Widows in it.
