    hey whats up?

I play in a rock band and lately Ive realized that my sound is lacking low end definition. The notes I play on the E string seem to have less of an punch than the rest of the strings.

Right now my setup is a GK-700RB II through an Avatar B410 Delta. I love the sound of my amp and im pretty sure Ive EQ'ed it perfectly, but would a better cabinet help to tighten the sound?

I don't know why Avatar ever used the Delta 10. It's even worse with a low B. Model it in WinISD and see what your ears are already telling you.

looking at your setup (on your profile) a couple things came to mind as possible tweaks. if you use your BDDI in your setup, try and back off the "drive" try it all the way counter clockwise. make sure your "blend" is not much more than 1/2.

if you also use your compressor, try turning down your "ratio" to 1.5:1 or less and/or raise your threashold

    those are my thoughts.
