Is it possible to wire an eden 410t 8ohms to a 4ohm load?A friend told me last night that the 8 ohm and 4ohm cabinets use the same drivers with the same inpedances but wired differently. Is that true?I'm in the market for a new cab and can't decide between 410t 410xlt and ampeg6*10s I play a pbass fingerstyle with the tone knob rolled all the way back through a eden wt400. 2. Your friend is wrong.
Your cab has 4 8 Ohm speakers wired in series/parallel giving you an 8 Ohm total.
You can rewire you cab to be 2 Ohms by wiring all of the speakers in parallel.
Or you can rewire it to be 32 Ohms by wiring all of the speakers in series.
But you will never get to 4 Ohm without changing the drivers
