I am exploring amp cab combinations I tried a MB AMP into a sIngle 15 and perhaps because of my age ( b15 amps back in the 70's ) I found this 15 attractive Does anyone out there have opinions on 15" cabinets
Yesterday the 15 was MB - it looked like a larger ( not Jeff Berlin size ) than a smaller 15 ive seen

  2. I like 15's. I like two of em stacked even better.

Just in case you forgot.....15's RULE

    10's or 15's?

Who plays rock/metal music with 2x15's?

There are some very well loved 15's available... some can go extremely low - some do excellent lows and mids and some highs. A lot of people love the Markbass 15's. I like the idea of super light, powerful cabs too - I'm currently waiting on a Compact from barefaced: http://barefacedbass.com/index.php?page=compact

but with vintage grille :D [IMG]

(the middle one - but I think I'll put mine the right way up :hyper:

    Do we :D.

I've little experience with amps and cabs... but there are people here who've played through damn near everything. :bassist:

You should search for markbass, GK, genz benz and other threads.

P.S. there are some super new designs, some of which use 15's (like the compact and fEARful 15/6) that are pretty much (at least on paper) in a league of their own.

    here's some nice ones: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/gallien-krueger-official-club-pt-6-a-899832/

    Enjoy! :D
