    Hello my fellow Lakland people,

Does anybody have a picture of a 55-02 natural with rosewood fretboard with a black picguard?
I have been looking for one for a while now. Thanks to anybody who can find one.

Hmmmm, Doug (Basspraiser) has a 55-07 in that setup (different pickups, but you get the idea).

Actually, Doug still has a maple board on his, since he didn't make the switch.

OP, check out this collection of pics, there could be one there that fits the bill.

Also, on TB, check the "Lakland 01 club" thread.

This isn't quite right -- the strings go under the pickguard, for one thing -- but it's best I can do right now -- got a rehearsal to go to.

I can do a 55-02 natural / maple with black guard

    5502May08.

... or a 44-01 natural / rosewood with black guard

    Kellerfest010.

but natural/rosewood 55-02 with black guard... how did I miss that combo?

How about a pickguard on a natural quilt 55-02 deluxe with rosewood board? Would anything look good on that quilt?

Man, I would NOT cover any quilted top with a pick guard.... but that's just me....

  11. No kidding. 70's punk band stickers stand out much better on the quilt without the pickguard in the way...:D
