    Nice...

The "Cosmetically, it's about a 5 out of 10." part scares me a bit, though. :eyebrow:

  3. Yeah...love me some Spectors, but that 5 out of 10 cosmetic score is a bit scarey.

Whats the difference between this spector and a warwick streamer lx? The body shape is identical..Are Spectors much better?
    I have an streamer lx5..

  8. It's just preference, the streamer and NS were both designed by Ned Steinberger!! What ever floats your boat!!

There is a ton of difference between Warwicks and Spectors. The only thing that's really the same are the body asthetics.

i just bought a ns4 so i looked into this bass before i bought the one i got. he sent me some pics of it and its beat to hell. it looks like the owner had it on the road without a case. i wanted a natural oil finish and was thinking about getting this one and stripping it and refinishing it with a tung oil finish but i figured if the bass if that beat up, there must be other problems with it. plus refinishing it would of killed the value of it. plus i think i made the right decission. look at at flame top....

I once played a Streamer Stage 1 (all maple) with EMGs that sounded and felt remarkably Spector-like, but that's as close as they get. Bar the body shape, they're very different animals.
