I hope that some of our Chicago-based members can help here: I'm looking for any information on the current activities of the guitarist Pete Cosey.

He's best known for his stint with Miles Davis from '73 to '75. He is a member of the AACM and was a session player for Chess. Recordings and performances outside Chicago have been extremely sporadic since '75.

I know that he lives on the south side of the city. Has anyone come across him gigging around town? I know he is still involved in music, so surely he gigs to make a living. Very little up-to-date info on him on the web.

    Thanks,
    DB
