Never thought I'd be doing this, but here we are. Selling my custom CallowHill J(unk)5 #92 finished by Tim in 2010.

Vintage Tint Ash Body, Custom Pickguard, Bird's Eye Maple board, Black Blocks and Binding, Big Singles in 2-7 position, Nordy 3B-5b preamp; 34" scale, weighs 8 lbs.

Neck is super-fast, great sounding with lots of flexibility. Usual pickguard swirling with small ding on the back of the neck between the nut and first fret. Near the top so you don't feel. Tried to capture in the pics.

May consider an upright bass in trade. Otherwise, for sale only.

Callowhill have become my everyday players.
They are for me the most comfortable and effortless basses to play and sound fantastic!
    Get them when you can.

I think I might be interested in your bass...I have a very nice Christopher upright bass maybe for trade...
  7. Nice bass!! Definitely one of those I want to give it a try...
What are the nut width, and the strings spacing at the bridge?
    Thank you!

I see you're in MD, so I'm sure we can set up a time/date to check it out.

Nut is 1 13/16" and string spacing at the bridge is 19mm. 34" scale with 12" radius. The neck profile is thin and fast. Tim knew I was playing Laklands and I had a 55-02 at the time that seemed like it had been shaved ever so slightly. Tim nailed it. Neck is super-fast!

Shoot me a PM if you want to work out logistics to check it out.

If it's a hybrid I might be interested. Otherwise I'm either going old Kay C-1 in great condition (with plenty of fingerboard left) or recent Upton Standard Laminated.
