You've already seen mine...I want to see yours! I was just checking out Leo (Lamar Jones)'s site and he's got a couple pretty phat looking 5's hot out of the shop. Maybe he'd post the pics if the CUP allowed. Anyway, it sparked my interest in seeing more R-Basses, so howabout it?

Edit: What the heck, I'll just post them.

Does R Bass have a website/link? They are really nice looking basses.

Wow man, that one looks great! Don't be afraid to post the pic of your 5'er that you just got from Ray.

  6. No offense to the owners, but I think all the single cut designs look the same and are boring.

  7. I'm actually a converted man...

I used to hate single cuts with a passion. Now, when they're done right, like these R Basses... Man-o-man, I absolutely love 'em. They look so damn cool!

here's an Alder R Bass i owned and should have NEVER sold! this bass had mojo for days! it is a maccassar Ebony top and it has a Maple neck and board- the thing NAILED the " Marcus" tone if you can believe that in a neck thru singlecut, played like butta and you could set the action ridiculously low. I got an offer i cold not refuse on it, stupid me.

Hopefully I won't cross any line, but I'll put some pics here.

I love this one, I might have to have one.

This is a top for a 6, imbuia. Not my neck, although it looks nice.

This is my bass. I have had a bunch of others, but this is my favorite. Just did 3 hrs with it.

This is probably the best sounding bass I have heard. I meant that is all relative and all....

Cool looking basses and I've played a few but the designs are pretty shameless if you ask me.

...or does this look a lot like a Fodera Monach??

Is this the guy that copies Fodera designs??

Personally i like the fact that he uses fodera style bodies. It makes the style accessable to people that aren't rich and they're high quality basses to boot. More power to him and to all you R bass owners and lovers. More pics please! :hyper:

    I didn't ask you. BUT....

Of the Fodera's I've played, I like the R-Basses better. More comfortable neck profile, much much lighter, and they come with an electronics package I can use.
