Can an Epifani T-212 handle a BEEFY low B?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Peter McFerrin, Feb 1, 2002.

  1. The subject says it all. My new FBB 5 demands a cabinet that has the BEEF.

I'm using an Eden WT-300, by the way.

I agree with Tumbao, It does great at handling a low B. I use a SWR 750 on it. Try out a Bergantino HT2x12 also. I think the Bergs will handle more low end than the Epifs because the cone movement doesn't get excessive, and if you want huge bass get a Berg HT1x15.(it's awsome!)

I haven't seen even a hint of a problem with my 212 handling the B string in my current setup (Stingray 5, Eden QSC). Great Cab!
  5. Hmm...I'll have to take a trip down to Bass Palace :D to test some things out...mmm...

I suppose the WT-300 will run out of headroom before the Epifani reaches it's limit.
I have a Glockenklang 212 which handles the low B VERY well and I heard the Epifani sounds even a bit more beefy and 'in your face'.
