can anyone date this Fender Jazz?

    Hi there..

    can anyone date this Fender Jazz?

    it's got a white body with white pickguard.

    N stands for nineties and the first # (9) is the year, so '99. Now this is not 100%. To be 100% you need to pull the neck and read the body and neck stamps.

  5. out of interest, what model of Jazz is it?

    I didn't know they made any USA Jazz models in 1999 with trussrod access at the headstock end.


    EDIT- just read the serial number page - N9 could also be 1990.
    if it's a 22fret passive Jazz it's an American standard from 1990.

    Plus the logo and the serial number on the front of the headstock would lead me to assume 1990. I was posting while the pic went up and didn't see it until after.
