Can anyone give me a specific year or model name of my Fender Jazz?

    Any way to tell what year this is from or the exact model name?
     
  2. As far as I can tell what you have there is a 1998 American Standard Series Jazz Bass.

    You sir have a American Standard from 1997 :cool: But it look's like a p-bass case :meh:

    I agree that it's a 1997 American Standard. You can find Fender dating info. here

    BTW, the N7 means Ninety-Seven, the rest of the numbers are pretty much useless for dating.

    The MIA cases are standard to fit both Jazz and Pbass (I believe).
