Can anyone help me? I am making a guitar stand at school.

    Hi. My names Rob and for my school GCSE technology project I have decided to make a guitar stand. Could anyone out their help me with designs or dimensions etc.

    I would check the dimensions from some of the stands that are for sale in music stores. Just take a sheet a paper, a pencil, and a tape measure, go to your nearest store and measure away on a stand that appeals to you. I personally would not make one, since stands are cheap enough to purchase as is. But, if this is a school project, it would be a pretty cool one. Never made one myself, but that's where I would start. Good Luck.

    Rob,

    I don't think that you need to worry too much about specs. A guitar stand is supposed to do only one thing: make a guitar stand! Focus on function rather than form; who knows, you might stumble on a better design.
