Can anyone help me with this?

    First of all i am a foreigner that i feel sorry for my english hope y'all dont mind.
    I have an question about BOSS CS-3 and LMB-3,I got a cs-3 and that guy told me that could be used for bass as well,But i've been thinking to buy LMB-3 and sale my cs-3,Any suggestions?Thanks a lot.

    If there are only two choices,Keep cs-3 or get lmb-3?

    They are both possibly useful, but a little different. You can read reviews of both of them in the reviews link in my sig. The LMB3 is better for bass with no modifications; the CS3 loses some low end and is a bit noisy. However there are some electronic modifications for the CS3 which can give it a good low end and lower the noise. After those mods, I prefer the tone of the CS3 over the LMB3 (which is otherwise a bit boring sounding). So if it was me making the choice, I would get the LMB3 if I wanted simply to plug in and be done; or I would get modifications performed to the CS3 if I was willing to spend the time and money on that, because the tone is more interesting.

    Thank you so much!It was wonderful reply.I've learned a lot from you.May i know what are your effects device and what's the brand of your bass?Mine is Carvin Icon4 bass guitar with odb-3 and geb-7.I also need advice for amp if you could give me some.

    Awake, those are much larger and more complicated questions, that can only be answered by two methods:
    1) Experiment on your own. Only you can discover what sounds right to you.
    2) Do a ton of research here in the forums, searching on terms and brands that interest you, and paying close attention to discussions of the tone, functions, and budgets that other people are trying to achieve. Compare their goals with your own.

    +1 It may take years for you to learn what sort of equipment you really like best. I've been playing 25 years and I'm just getting a handle on my tone.

    Yeah you're right.I love my bass but i don't know much about effects.I just started using simply effects recently.Basically i am a beginner on that.Realized gotta learn a lot on here.Thanks.:cool:
