    Hey guys!
First off I am not sure if I am posting in the right place so I am sorry if I am not :).
I saw this bass on a site and it says it is unmarked. Does anyone know anything about this bass?

I am new to this and I dont know how to figure this stuff out :(.

The add says its a Vintage bass. Thanks!
If you need more photos of it just let me know :).

Yes - post bigger, clear pics to start with. If it is old, the double P set-up indicates late 70's early 80's. It looks home-made. All indications point to caution in proceeding. If it's cheap, really cheap - and you are drawn to it, it's probably worth the novelty factor but realize you can get a new pretty playable bass for around $200 nowadays.

Headstock most likely cut down, body cut down, home brew stain... Buy it for the hardware value.

It appears to be a dwarf mutation of a BC Rich Eagle Bass :bag:

Maybe it's not any larger than the pictures.
  9. Hi.

    Welcome to TalkBass Lordvogg.

You probably saved the thumbnails, not the actual full size pics.

Vantage is one option, but so is any other P-bass.

To me it looks like just a cut down P, mimicing an Alembic/BcRich.
The colour looks like it's stained as well, so I doubt that it's actually walnut it kind of looks like.

If it's cheap and/or plays very well, could be a nice catch.

It looks like a mutilated P bass of some variety. The remnant of the headstock looks like it's Fender-shaped, and the rear of the body looks P-bassish. They probably added the second P pickup.

Anyway, it's a mess, and I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it. It's not something you should buy with the intention of playing it.
