I've gone under the Control Panel (scheduled tasks) but couldn't find anything to shut the computer down at a certain time. I'm running Windows XP. Is there a way to schedule the computer to shut off or hibernate at a certain time? Thanks!
You could always get a timer switch for yur plug that cuts of the 'leccy at a preset time... It'll probably bust yer comp' in time though.
THere's a DOS command "shutdown" Go to the command prompt and type shutdown /? to get all of the command line switches. I think it lets you pick a time too. Or you could browse to shutdown.exe in the task schedular.
