Can I fix my bass head?

    Ahahaha, the title sounds a little funny if you read it out of context.

    I walked into band prac one day and someone had tried to run the microphone into one of the speaker outputs on this head. when you consider the impedance of the microphone it's no wonder that after the initial freakout when I checked my bass in the amp I was only getting a very very quiet distorted sound from the speaker.

    I'm guessing it's the output transformer that's blown, can anyone confirm this? and if so, where can I get a replacement, and for how much? I'm relatively competent with electronics and I think I'd be capable of replacing parts myself.

  2. Judging from the questions you're asking, any attempt you make to repair your amp will probably cause more harm than good.
