Ok, Listen. DO you think I could make my own cab? I mean If I buy 4 10" bass speakers, and made the cab with wood, would this sound ok? I mean "good", will it?

Id buy plywood, and speakers, and I would make it nice and tight and tidy! Wires too...

Anyhow, I guess what im asking, is that if I buy bass speakers, could I put them together, and make it sound like a... say... "Peavey" cabinet?

    haha, im just an idiot!
    Thanks for any replies,

    Alyosha

    Hey,
Home-made cabinets can sound very good.
I bought a used 4x10 cab that someone made,
and demoed it against a SHS 4x10/w tweeter.
The homemade 4x10 sounded much better, even without
    a tweeter.
So I bought it for $150, as opposed to $350
for the SHS. I am very happy with this cabinet,
it sounds great. I only wish it could handle more
power. Overall the cabinet is great.

My advice to you is to read the thread entitled
"Does it pay to make your own cab" Here's the link

    Hope this helps,
