Can i use that avalon u5 with pa phantom power?

    Hi, i used avalon u5.
    i have small question.

    my team have YAMAHA EMX-5000 Powered mixer.
    and this mixer have group phantom power which 8 group setting phantom power.

    so, no phantom power channer used our team's vocal.
    and instrument used phantom channel because drum mike.

    i use my avalon u5 with phantom power channel.
    but i don't know that avalon u5 used with phantom power.

    avalon u5 do not support phantom power.
    because avalon u5 use anoter power.

    but, i wan't to used phantom power.
    i must connected avalon u5 xlr cable to used phantom power channel.

    so, this sisuation is safety?
    my avalon u5 is safety?

    Phantom power is a small voltage typicly 12-48V that condecer microphones use. The Avalon has its own power suply and does not relly on phantom power to work. I f your question is will the Avalon get damaged if you plug it into a chanell that uses phantom power the answer is no.
