can someone answer my question?

    OK, i snapped my "E" string:(

    I was wondering, i have a spare "A" string. Would putting it in "E"'s place do the same job? Or will i have to go out and buy new strings?

    hey joke, are you joking? you better buy a new set and go easy on them, the e string is usually pretty tough.

    what happened was, the "E" string was too loose, so, stupidly i tried to tighten it up a bit, but i went a bit too far. The strangest thing was, the string didnt snap, the outside wire just kept unwinding. oh well, better start saving up my pennies for new strings!
