Hey, a local jazzband was pretty hard up for a bass player so they are giving me a shot. I knew how to site read for piano once upon a time so I'm trying to apply that knowledge to bass. wanna help me out and let me know if i'm on the right track?

and could somsone let me know how coda's work? thanks!

basically using ~ for let the note ring and / for slide. I know it does nothing for timing but are my pitches at least right? am I playing on the right parts of the neck?

Thanks for your help sorry if this is the wrong form I didn't know if this was tab related enough to go under tabs or if it was just or just general instruction

while I haven't checked out the whole thing, what I've seen is accurate.
    Good luck.

    As for the Coda part...

when you get to measure 138 where it says D.S. Al Coda, go back to measure 57 where there's that little squiggly S thing. Then when you get to the end of measure 71 (end of last measure in the first line of the second page), go to the coda (last measure at end). Thats all there is to it.. pretty easy.

but yeah, the tabs seemed accurate. Jazz band rocks! Have fun! :bassist:
