Jazz bass with flats (or dead roundwounds)

    Both pickups on full

    Tone all the way up.
  4. That was interesting. I would go with someting "Jazzish" in pickup nature with rounds. or, perhaps, something along the lines of a Music man or a similar pickup arrangement.

Sounds like a Jazz or something with two pickups in those positions..... sounds like Roundwounds, could be Brite Flats or Pressurewounds
  7. An Sunburst/Rosewood active Mexican Fender Jazz from 2001 with nickel strings. You played seated and there's cup of tea with honey on the table next to you.

Interesting piece of music, but you guys need to work on your timing. off topic, sorry.

Yes because it was an improvisation, and at the early morning so just randomly noodlings
In our TRUE songs no issue like that

Doesn’t sound quite aggressive enough to be a Rick or Stringray/Humbucker type bass, but it could be one of those. To me, definitely sounds like a Jazz with both pickups full, tone up. Flat wound strings most likely. Not a ton of clank when you’re popping the strings.

EDIT: I'm going to guess the string are Rotosounds because of the red silks

Sounds very Doors-ish to me. Except that there's someone playing a bass, which wasn't really their thing.

Lots of people have said "Jazz with both pickups", but I'm just not hearing it. It sounds like a P to me, with flats.
  16. 2 pickups in series with Flats posably DR?
