Don't get SARS hehehe j/k
Ah, the great wall, cool
Nice shirt. What's the symbol on the front? Some sort of Chinese symbol I presume.........
All Walls are great if the roof doesn't fall.
lump, can you translate the writing for us?
It says :
I have two just like it!!
They have internet access on the great wall?!
Nice going Whats it like up there?
PS - Looking at that pic reminds me of the tiger levels on crash bandicoot 3 where you peg it along the great wall of china on the back of a tiger
Would like to try visiting China someday.
Nah you're really just sticking your head through one of those "scenic" fake shots...
This one's for you, little buddy.
Nope. Korean is my forte, although I can read a bit of Chinese (or can look it up) if it isn't so stylized. I'm pretty sure it says something about how cool I am though.
It probably says : please do not stand in front of this sign - access required at all times!!
Either that or "Photography strictly prohibited - 2,000,000 yuan fine!!"
Great wall, Lump. Wish I had one like it.
We don't need no education...
It doesn't look like Kansas either. Um,....Philly!
Behind a computer!
Is that the Great Wall at Ba Da Ling or Mu Tian Yu? I've been to both but I think the one you're at in the pic is Ba Da Ling.
I lived in Changchun, China for a year in 2001-02 teaching English to Chinese students at a private college. I was also in China in 1996 for a summer. Between those two times I spent a lot of time in Beijing. I know you're having/had a blast. It's a fun place. If you're still there try and go to the Beijing Military Museum if you're into that sort of thing. That's a place most tourists don't visit but is really fascinating. There's a stop for it on the straight line subway. Easy to find. Ahhh...memories. The Temple of Heaven is pretty cool too if you haven't been there. You've obviously been to Tiananmen, which is a must-see. If you can get up to see the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an that is at least as impressive as the Great Wall in my mind. You should be able to get an overnight train ticket for 25 dollars or less. Anyway...I know you don't need my advice but I couldn't resist. Have fun!
Even thou I'm not a Maoist, I appreciate it.
