I picked up a used bass and I really like these strings that are on it. I think they are super slinky and they measure 100, 80, 65, 45 so that matches. Brass ball ends, hex core, no silks on either end. I took some photos but don't be fooled by the faux red silks - the Previous Owner had clipped the strings way too short (barely one wrap around the post) and I wrapped the ends to stop them slipping out of the tuning posts). Anyway I'm guessing these are super slinky 100-80-65-45 just hoping someone can confirm before I order more - are they nickel or stainless? These are thumbnails so click for the giant version:
I didn't think EB's were tapered like that. Gold ends and tapered could be DR's. Contact Jason at Fretboard Nation. Goes by slapnfunk here on TB.
Looking at the photo of the head stock, it appears they have a winding length (ball end to taper) of 37" - 37.25". (Can you measure and see?) EB Slinkys would be the most likely ones - brass ball ends, hex core and no silk with 37.25" winding length. Probably not DR as they would be 38" in winding length.
