can you mend damage speakers in a cab?

    if you damage a speaker in your cab (which i think has happened to my behringer power pach one cab) can it be mended. if so what needs to be done and what kind of cost would it be.
    the speaker gives out a ****ty sound when i play certain notes on my bass. please help you low end monsters!

    Sure, they can be fixed. Most blown speakers just need re-coned.

    Yep a re-cone should do the trick. You should also consider what exactly happened to damage the speaker. Otherwise, you'll just end up blowing it again.
