i have an old one(electro harmonix memory man) that has pots for blend feedback and delay, when i use it on "echo" there is a dirty sound that comes in, it gets louder if i turn in more "blend", i guess this pot is dirty or needs to be replaced.
none of the other pots effect the static or dirtiness i'm hearing, anyone have any recommendations, i can sauder fine so i figure i could replace a pot myself(i wired up a passive pbass no problems) i'm kinda looking for other opinions on my diagnosis.
also can pots be cleaned, or should they be replaced?
    what pot do i need?
    thanks much
