Can you slap and fret at the same time. If so, how?

How do I develop a proper slap technique. Also, how can I use a pick to play triplets fast?

  2. No. so to get around that, here is what most of us do: we use one hand to do the slapping, and the other hand to do the fretting. Otherwise it would just be a big mess.

    Hey check this out

Also just type slap talkbass into Google for more results.

For the fast triplets put a metronome on and practice them super slow. As soon as you have them even at 60bpm move to 70 and so on until you can play them at 150bpm or whatever tempo you want.

If you can't do it slow, you can't do it fast. No matter what the technique, get it right at a slow tempo.. then speed up.
