I was thinking - we should have a big meeting for all Canadian TalkBassers! That would be really cool. Have everybody meet, maybe some jams, fun stuff!

  2. Yeah! And let's make it in montreal.

    HAha!

Seriously, sounds great. My friends can't get me 5 minutes down the street to the pub these days. I'm playing there on Saturday though so if you guys want to show up.....

I thought we all "met" right here on Talkbass!

If anyone is near London, Ontario look me up! But as my wife says, "London's a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit there!"

I reserve the right to crash the BC get together, eat some bacon (cool how I didn't call it "Canadian Bacon", huh?) and stop at Tim Hortons on my way back across the border.

Troika, part Texan, part Canuck. I bet you can even pronounce 'eh' correctly.

Probably the result of having an NHL team in Dallas. All that ice alters your basic values; for instance, you're named for a Siberian horse-drawn sleigh! :D

I can pronounce "eh" correctly, but I'll admit that I didn't know how to spell it, so I opted for "huh", which is more true to my Seattle roots.

And I know what "Roots" is!

I'll probably get my passport confiscated for saying this but: before Tim Horton's got a big butt advertising budget, no caffeine-requiring Canadian gave a rat's patootie about their coffee. "Double double": ugh! Just heat up some 2% milk and be done with it...

Now, what we need is a poutine party.

I'm always afraid that if I order it I might slightly mispronounce it and end up with a hooker. Either can kill you in your sleep, but one is a more dignified way to die.

    POO - TEEN

One will do ya with a knife the first time -- the other will take decades and leave gravy stains on your clothing.
