Whats the American exchange rate, right now?
and whats the taxes right now? help.
If i am buying someting from the states i usually just uses this at the time to figure out my price...it uses up to date info on currency exchange. I dunno if this helps...but id thought id try.
Exchange rate = PITIFUL
Taxes = EXORBITANT
Ya know what i hate? Duty fees....free trade my butt!

The exchange rate is about 75 US cents to the dollar.
Taxes depend on which province you're in.
There's retail sales tax exemption forms you can obtain from Customs and Immigration that allows a traveller to apply for rebate for any GST paid on goods and services....
Not sure if that applies to mail order as typically sales tax is waived when an item is shipped to another province country, no? Some states/provinces have sanctions in place that allow them to collect taxes that would be applicable in other states/provinces.
