I guess my thread title could apply to anyone who lives in more northerly climes getting an AEB shipped from further south...anyways...as soon as I am employed again, I am very tempted to finally pull the trigger on an acoustic-electric bass guitar (something I haven't owned in awhile...) - However, I am a little wary of getting such an instrument shipped in the winter.

Anyone got any advice/reassurance to offer? For what it's worth, I am in British Columbia, and the (used) AEB I have my eye on is in Detroit (I wish I could find it locally, or even within Canada, but it seems like that isn't going to happen, so...)

    Yes I would.
Have ordered before during the dead of winter in the past with no problems.
