Basses I am playing the most nowadays...
How does that Zon sound through your cable TV connection???
Those are all beautiful.
I like the Fender!
I like the Zons. Are you not playing the new six-string much anymore?
I play it, but not as much as these...I play ALL my basses, but these are the three I have narrowed it down to for at least practicing regularly (which is about all I do nowadays...band seems to be on a permanent hiatus...)
you are not playing your 6er much?
Are you gonna keep the 6 string?
I am so shocked that you would be playing another bass other than a Zon.luckly I can see that the one in the middle is A zon copy.I guesse just trying to fit in.
Im just kidding all three are looking very nice.
If you're trying to get me jealous, it worked!
I like 'em all. The fretless is the one I'd like to take home.
Those are some shweet basses there. But dare i ask how much cash did you throw into Mt. Doom for the 2 zons?
Nice! Seems you have your tonal bases covered
No Jeff, don't you mean "basses" covered?
Pretty sweet stuff Peter! But I think that anything that you put your hands to is going to sound phenominal. I play the CD with the stuff that I nabbed off your website more than the I'm playing my Vic Wooton, MM and Alain Caron CDs.
Ohhhhh yeah...it helps my other playing a lot too (on the 4's and 5's)...
He he...I have 4 others
3 5's (2 in this pic)
+ 3 Fender 4's
Had to order a guitar rack to hold them...decided to go for the 7 space
The reason I don't have all of them out, is for practicing, I don't want to have 9 basses out collecting dust, etc. So the others stay in the cases for when I need them...
I always dug the J bass tone, just took me until the FMT to find one that passed my standards...
Now if I could only find a band that had their collective crap together...I believe mine has just fizzeled out (guitarist/lead singer has just started a hair boutique business with his wife...and we were only practicing about 1 time a month BEFORE this...great...) Too bad...the music totally kicks ass, but the drummer and guitarist are day jobbers (they move from job to job "wherever the money is" and frequently cancel practice to do these things...damn we can't even learn 10 cover tunes as a "goal" or get through 5 new originals to do another CD for our own gratification...)
So, that leaves plenty of woodshedding time...
Really, Jerry - Jeff's practice room makes someplace like Bass Palace look like the Salvation Army Store of Musical Instruments.
Right after you give me that 5er fretless. Then all will be well. Aren't I a reasonable guy?
Naw man, sweet basses, good lookin fretless. I'd pounce on that any day!
I'd gladly trade a couple away for PD's bass chops!
