    Hey all,
I have been using a NOS Military .047 uF 200v with my P Basses. I think I am going to try a .068 and maybe a .1 out just curious as to what you use an like and why.
    Many Thanks

Try the other way too! One of my favorite mods is a on-off-on toggle switch with .o47 uF on one side and .015 uF on the other. This gives you three settings = no cap at all (essentially equals a tone pot with infinite Ohms), a "standard" setting like other basses, and a "tone lite" setting that I like. The cool thing about the switch is you can dial in some tone you like and with a flip of the toggle you can go to a bright no cap sound and then back to original tone without having to deal with getting knob positions exactly right! You can do the switch thing with any values that float your boat.
