    Ive always thought that Carl's wood bridges were really cool.

    It must take a lot of time and attention for them to come out just right!

    That's definitely one of the best Carl Thompsons I've seen.

    that's a shame that that guy has to sell it. i couldn't imagine parting with one of my custom conklins.

    The one thing that has fascinated me the most about CTs are their bridges. To me, it seems that those bridges would kickass on a fretless.

    With as many basses that you have it would take 1 or 2 months before you realized one was missing!:D

    Looks to me more like he sat on a couple of tacks just as the picture was taken. I don't like many Thompsons, but that one looks okay. The description of "some unknown wood that Carl had found in his work shop" seems very Carl Thompson-like.
