Does any one as the URL for the CT website? Also, does anyone knows if Mr Thompson still takes orders?
  2. Edgar,
    The unofficial/official site is http://www.ctbasses.com
They say Carl is still taking orders, but it'll be a long wait to get one.

I researched this about 18 months ago. Price was $1,000 per string + options and the extra cost of any exotic wood. If you put 100% down the price was locked in at 50% it was subject to market pricing at delivery. For the average joe there was a 18-24 month back-log provided you didn't spec anything too unusal. Also the standard scale lenght was 36.5"... Those $3,500 used models don't look so bad now do they? RGDS
  4. LOL!! Hey, I don't mind.. I think me and my CT make a lovely couple!
