Carlsbro Stingray Pro

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by bass4ever, Aug 5, 2002.

  1. Does anybody know anything about this amp?

I have seen it for £225. Is this good? It suits my budget and has 300W of power which is about what I am looking for since my 100W amp can no longer compete with my Guitarists 80W 112 combo.

I can't try it as it is advertised on the internet, I haven't even seen a picture.

Please tell me anything you know!!

    Cheers ;)

Is it a head or combo?

I have the Carlsbro Stingray 150W 1x15 combo. It's older than me (made in 1983) and works near enough perfectly, it isn't scratchy or anything and sounds pretty good. It's loud... Erm... I did have one problem with it for a couple of days when it would just cut out for no reason but a few sharp smacks to the top of the amp and it was fine :D.

Anyway... Sorry that's a bit useless...

You can try emailing Carlsbro, that's what I did when I was gonna get mine (off of loot) and they sent a photocopy of the manual and catalogue from 1983! All in all very helpful, give them a call.
  3. o yeah. its just the head.
