    What kind of wood is Carolena? the kind used on the warwick streamer stds?

    Don't know but that type of bass sound awful. Don't understand why Warwick went to that extreme producing that low quality bass.

    Gotta disagree with you there... I use a two pickup Streamer Standard 5 as my main ax and it sounds great. Not the most versatile bass, but the sound is thick and has that characteristic warwick growl. The tone is deep and is great for funk, jazz, or anything that requires a rich bassy tone. The wood is extremely dense, making the bass quite heavy, but the tone you get from the wood is great.
