Carvin 150 W

    I'm thinking about buying a Carvin 150 W Bass Amp
    I'm not sure which model, but i think its fairly new and it has a 3 band EQ with middle sweep (I think) and a built in compressor and noise gate
    i tried it in the store and it sounded nice with a warwick they had in , but at home i play a ibanez atk 300

    if iw ant a good dry jazz sound, but also a funky slap tone, is this a good bass to buy?
    (in your matter of opinion)

    That one is probably cool. I played their 100w 1x15 model and it sounded cool, but got muddy when turned up so I did not dig that. The one that goes to 160w is probably better. I actually liked the versatility of the PB100 amp a lot. It just couldn't stay clean when turned up.
