Carvin Active Bass Adjustment Assistance

    Can anyone tell me if this is an adjustable screw for gain or something else. TY!

  2. Should be a gain pot. 99% of the time, when there is an adjustable trim pot on the module, it is for gain adjustment.
    The Duncan STC2- and -3 are the only preamps that I know of that have trim pots for bass boost and mid cut for their proprietary “slap” circuit.

    Yes. It's a trim pot. It's designed to allow you to make active and passive settings the same volume.
