I have a Carvin R1000 series III head and just last month I started experiencing the typical problems people have/had with this head (and I am just starting to care enough to fix it) It has a bad connection somewhere which is causing it to not send a signal to the speakers or it sounds like doo doo ). I have heard that replacing the ribbon cables solves (or temporarily fixes) the problem. My question is: Do they still sell these parts and where can I get them? I know the Carvin website has nothing about replacement parts of this kind (or at least that I can find). Is the only way to get parts ordering over the phone (They are closed today)? This seems very 20th century.
