I've held onto this amp for longer than I expected to, given my preference for grit and growl.

With the drive control, you can get a LITTLE bit of overdrive from the amp, but that's really not it's intended sound.

This amp is all about clarity, headroom, and massive low end.

But "in for a penny, in for a pound" I say; and if I'm going to bring a big amp, I'll just man-up and haul my all-tube beast.

The amp is in perfect functional condition, with some slight (and entirely cosmetic) wear around the rack-mounting holes on the rack ears.

Also some scratching on the top and bottom, I can unrack it and take more pics for anyone seriously considering purchasing it.

It's wearing a "SIZE MATTERS" (my commentary on the micro amp craze) emblem over the Carvin logo at the moment; it's just on there with double-stick tape. The Narbix sticker is from my last band; it too is easily removable.

Rack case and power conditioner are available, but they add size (and 22 lbs of weight) so they would only be included for an extra fee.

Asking [DEL]$425 [/DEL]$400 shipped CONUS for just the amp and $455 shipped for everything.

    Thanks guys!

It is a really great sounding amp and I think it gives a feeling of power and control (over the speakers) that you just can't get with smaller amps.

Also, I installed a green amp jewel, but the light is a blue LED (that'll never burn out) so the result is kinda turquoise/aquamarine -- very cool and unique looking!

    Happy Friday bump.

Had a question about shipping to Canada...

Yes, I will, with split shipping costs if they are considerably higher than in the US

Also, I still have the original blue amp jewel and can reinstall that if you prefer.

$400 for an amp that can deliver 1900 watts into 2 ohms?

You can run pretty much ANY combination of cabinets with this amp, and drive them to apocalyptic volume levels...

Yeah I'm broke right now or this amp would have been gone long ago!

    Being broke sucks!

I've had to sell some awesome gear (i.e. a couple Dingwall basses) to get out of THAT situation.

Trades will be considered, so if you're really interested in the amp, let me know!

Some folks may research this head and see some negative feedback. I have one of these and my unit is solid, runs all day, never a glitch, it seems it will last forever. Super fat sound, headroom for days and VERY reliable. This price is low and the head is a classic IMO.

    Thanks!

It really is a great amp and I'm tempted to keep it as a "backup" -- except I'm not playing in a band so I have NO NEED for a backup!
