    Hey guys
Will a warmoth neck fit a carvin body.
Carvin was not much assistance with this question. Anyone tried?

No, I'm morally certain it won't, at least not without way more trouble than it's worth. Warmoth bass necks are built to the Fender standard, which means 20 frets, 21 with an overhang. Carvin bolt-on bass necks are built to be 22 frets, with no overhang. I'd suggest going either all Carvin or all Warmoth.

The situation is different with the guitar necks. You can make Carvin bolt-on guitar necks work with Warmoth guitar bodies--I've done it--and I'd think you could do the reverse.

But I think you're just begging for trouble if you try it with the bass stuff. I mean, maybe you could mess around with the neck pocket and move the bridge and stuff, but why bother?
