Yesterday I picked up a Carvin BRX 10.2 Neo 210 at Carvin Sacramento for $377 out the door. This is a sweet cab, super transparent, with plenty of low end, and covered in indestructible truck bed liner! I've been gassing for a 4 ohm standalone 210 for a long time. The next week will be filled with A/B'ing the Carvin with my current rig. If the Carvin holds up, a couple cabs are on their way out. The Carvin was cheaper than an Avatar Neo 210 with Linex. Sounds like a deal to me.
I am local to the Sacramento store, the same promo is online. https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=BRX10.2NEO
I love (and miss) that speaker. On the plus side, I still own it. If I hadn't bought that bass and ordered the Carvin BX500 I'd have another BRX10.2
That's a great price on their Neo cabs. I bought the BRX10.4 Neo from the Sac store a few months ago, man what a cab. I compared it to the B410 Avatar, though the Carvin was more I still liked it's tight sound. I also just purchased the new BX500, I can hardly wait to hear how it sounds when I get it. I'm going to NAMM this next week in Anaheim, so I'll be checking it out down there - can't wait.
Update: I've been putting the cab through the motions for a good amount of time the last couple of days, and I'm impressed every time I plug it in. This cab is sweet. It makes me want an amp that can go down to 2 ohms so I can add a BRX 10.4.
