Hi! I have a 4 string Carvin Bunny Brunel that I got years ago and hardly played. A friend of mine was sponsored by Carvin so he was able to get me great deals on basses like this. I'm really not giving it the attention it deserves so I'm trying to sell it but I have no idea what its worth. Does anyone know what this bass is worth or even what model it is exactly? Thanks!!
Beautiful bass! Carvin BB70P most likely 2007 or later. By now you have probably sold it and figured out its worth but if not I'd say it would go in the upper end of what's on reverb in Carvin basses at any given time simply because of the wood set. It's a one of a kind combination of woods not like any on the Kiesel guitar GALLERIES and the neck construction which is impossible to see from your pictures although it would be all maple from the look of the end of body. 1 3 or 5 PC maple are the possible combinations. Looks like it may be just 1 PC. Fullest feature set available pretty much except for a hipshot d-tuner and the neck possibly. Black hardware and Birdseye board. Very nice. A custom headstock would have been a nice addition. (To each his own!) Only thing going against it I would say is that nowadays there are a number of Asian producers using very similar body wood on less expensive stuff but Carvin fans are pretty diehard and if a Carvin fan wanted it I doubt they'd setlle for an ESP
This is the only one even similar on GALLERIES but without the intense spalt variation that yours has. For anyone who likes Carvin Kiesel instruments you should really check out their GALLERIES. Super stuff in there. It's at the bottom of the guitars in stock page.
