Has anyone bought and used the Carvin carry bag made for the BX500 head? Opinions?

If not, what are you using to carry/protect the head?

    Thanks in advance. :D

I paid for all my gear myself. Well, me and MasterCard.
I got mine used when I bought the used BX amp.

It's lightly padded, has a pocket for various accessories (I store power and speaker cables in there), and a shoulder strap. It's no substitute for an ATA case, but it's great for lugging the amp around.

  3. I have one. It's fine for totting the head around. Works for me.

I use an old laptop computer case - the soft-sided briefcase shaped kind. Works great and has bunches of other pockets/compartments for other stuff.

I have two and they've been good so far. One holds the BX500, power cord and 2 speakon cables. The other contains a BX250, headphones, power cable and extension cord. As mentioned already, nicely padded laptop bags can work also. Plus they are probably easier to find at yard sales.
