I was just wondering how good AND reliable this amp is. Seems like a great deal. I know there are some other guys around here that use them. Does anybody here use one with a 4ohm cab? Any heat problems?

    thanks

  2. I have the Carvin R1000 Bass Head, which is bassically a DCM1000 with a pre-amp section.

I have run the amp as follows:

Full Range with multiple cabs totalling 2 ohms on each channel

Bi-Amp with 4 ohm cabs connected to each channel

Bridged into one 4 ohm cab

The amp performed flawlessly in each situation, with no heat problems or clipping.
