    At $300 this is a steal even if it does have fret buzz at the moment. This could be a simple bridge adjustment, or worst case scenario a refret. Even then we're still talking what... $600? I really do not know how much a refret would be from you local chop shop. I had a luthier friend who handled the refret/recrowning of one of my guitars. This could have been caused by something as simple as taking the bass outside of an AC'd house to an outdoor gig in the Austin heat.

    This does look like an older model based on the bridge and 4 non stacked controls. In either case I took a quick trip through
    the Carvin builder, and this bass would be about $1,400 to order new. This seems like a deal and a half to me.
