My Carvin LB75 fretless bass is for sale. It is a neck-through body bass, the neck and sides are all Koa. It has an ebony fingerboard, all black hardware, and the 1 single/1 HB pickup upgrade, with Carvin's active electronics.

This bass has a nice, dark, woody tone, a nice narrow, straight neck, and some of the lowest action I've been able to achieve on any of my basses.

It's in very good condition. I have gigged with it, and it has less than average gig wear - mostly a little nick here and there. I have attempted to inlcude a comprehensive set of pictures to illustrate the bass' condition fully.

$500 plus shipping, including a Carvin hard case.

I need another fretted bass, but I don't have the SAP (Spousal Approval Points) required to buy a third instrument at the moment, so I have to part with this guy.

You may notice that the truss rod cover has my name on it. You are welcome to leave that on there, in my honor, if you like. :eyebrow: Or, at my asking price only, I will have Carvin send you a new blank one at my expense.

I'll entertain any reasonable trade idea - but here are a few I would strongly consider. Most of these would probably involve some cash contribution on my part:

    • Five or Six String Only
    • Lakland Darryl Jones 5
    • Stingray 5
    • Valenti 5
    • Skjold 5 or 6
    • Status 5 or 6
    • Any good quality jazz or jazz clone

...and I'll consider other ideas. If you happen to be in Denver or Boulder, check out www.finadupa.com for our upcoming dates. If you come to a show, I'd be happy to set you up to try it out between sets.

EDIT - I was able to lightly buff and oil the fretboard with excellent results. New pics below. The fretboard is in as-new condition.
